Akuterna
One platform, six treatment areas. The same clinical flow and the same infrastructure sit behind each one — adding an area is a question of content, not of building again.
Previously operated as Urinakuten and Herpesakuten — both grew to thousands of customers and a 5,0 Google reviews rating before being brought together under Akuterna.
Treatment areas
- Urinary tract infection Around 400,000 women in Sweden are affected every year. With Akuterna you get assessment, diagnosis and a prescription in less time than the trip to the pharmacy.
- Oral herpes Four in five adults carry the virus. With Akuterna you get treatment the moment an outbreak starts — not when an appointment happens to open.
- Genital herpes One in eight Swedish adults carries the virus. With Akuterna you get assessment and a prescription without ever sitting in a waiting room.
- Genital warts One of the most common sexually transmitted infections among young people. With Akuterna you get a prescription for at-home treatment without booking a visit.
- Postponing menstruation Not an illness but a planned need — and care is rarely built for it. With Akuterna the prescription is in hand well before departure.
- Borreliosis (Lyme) Between 5,000 and 10,000 people in Sweden fall ill every year. With Akuterna a physician assesses the rash from a photo and prescribes antibiotics when needed.
